Coaching

PURPOSE

Converge MidAtlantic’s Coaching Ministry exists to connect pastors and ministry leaders with certified coaches to help them clarify and achieve their ministry and personal goals.  Coaches will help leaders answer 3 main questions: Where am I? Where do I want to go? How will I get there?

WHO IS COACHING FOR?

The coaching ministry is available to pastors and ministry leaders in churches affiliated with Converge MidAtlantic.  Coaching is for you if you are looking to develop further in your leadership skills, tackling a new ministry opportunity, going through a crisis in ministry, or looking for someone to help you develop and clarify your ministry or personal goals.

WHO ARE THE COACHES?

Converge MidAtlantic coaches are pastors and ministry leaders who have been trained as coaches through InFocus Ministries (www.infocusnet.org).

WHY WOULD I WANT A COACH?

Coaches come alongside you and help you clarify your goals and objectives, solve a ministry issue or obstacle, and work toward your maximum Kingdom impact.  Sometimes we just need an outside, objective perspective to help us focus our energy in the right direction.  Sometimes ministry and life is exhausting and difficult and simply need someone in our corner helping and encouraging us.

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THE COACHING PROCESS?

Once connected with a coach, you and your coach will develop a coaching agreement that outlines the focus of the coaching relationship, specific objectives, your mutual commitments, and the logistics of the coaching appointments.  This is generally a 6-12 month contract with a minimum of at least one coaching appointment per month and access to the coach by email or text between appointments.
