On September 20th, seven pastors from around the district met for our first “Coaching Cluster” led by Dan Peterson and Gary Schroeder. The purpose of this group is to help pastors navigate the implementation process for the Natural Church Development survey their respective churches took during the summer. The interaction between the pastors was stimulating as they considered the reasons for their congregation’s “Minimum Factor” being what it was. There was a genuine sense of support and challenge amongst the men in planning next steps to bring about improvement in the quality designated in the survey. The energy generating by working together got this group off to a great start.
If this pilot program is well-received, other “Coaching Clusters” will be offered in the future. If you’re interested in future groups please notify us after the first of the year.
