On October 27th an Ordination Council was called by Berean Baptist of Mansfield OH for the purpose of examining the conversion experience, call to ministry and doctrinal statement of Pastor Craig Hamm. Craig has served at Berean for over 10 years and the impact of his ministry was evident by the group of over 50 people that had assembled to support him on this occasion. The Council, made up of pastors from local Converge MidAtlantic churches, thoroughly questioned Craig and voted, on the basis of his clear-cut testimony and answers, to unanimously recommend to the leadership of the church that they proceed with the ordination of Craig Hamm. The ordination service will be held on November 20th in conjunction with the Berean Sunday morning service. Craig and Cheryl will be seeking God's direction for a call to a senior pastor position in the days ahead.
